On May 21th(Fri), YNU held an online meeting with Mr. Syed Nasir Ershad, Minister(Economic), Embassy of Bangladesh in Japan. The main purpose of the online meeting is to hold a round table meeting with Bangladeshi students at YNU; the minister has been energetically rounding universities throughout Japan. At present, there are 13 Bangladeshi students residing at YNU, and many master's and doctor's students are enrolled.

The meeting was hosted by International Office Manager NITTA Tomoki. Firstly, Vice President for global KABASHIMA Hiromi gave a greeting and introduced the career track record of Bangladeshi students alumni of YNU. After that, Minister of Economy Mr. Ershad introduced himself and gave a greeting, and explained about exchanges with Japan.
Afterwards, the round table discussion with 9 Bangladeshi students ensued, who energetically conveyed the research that they are presently conducting as well as the facets of life in Japan.
Through this online meeting, the further development of exchanges with Bangladesh is expected.
